Golfing - There are five municipal golf courses in Wichita, plenty for any golfer to be entertained with for the duration of their stay at USI RV Park. You can register online for a tee time at any of the golf courses by checking our links page. |

| Fishing - There are several good fishing spots in the Wichita Metro area. Most lakes in this area are stocked with one or more kinds of fish. Trout is stocked in the cooler months on a biweekly stocking schedule (October 15 through April 1) at KDOT East Lake and in Big Slough Creek. Many lakes are also stocked with wipers, a white bass/striped bass hybrid. These fish are stocked to provide trophy fish and to help control rough fish and panfish. Other species of fish that you might find on the end of your pole are bass, crappie, bluegill, carp, flathead catfish, drum, buffalo, and gizzard shad. |

Bird Watching - The Wichita Audubon Society operates the Chaplin Nature Center, just south of Wichita. There are many programs available for the family, as well as hiking trails. These are free to the public and open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. |

Wildlife Viewing - The Great Plains Nature Center is the best place to go for experiencing a wide array of wildlife. They even record the sightings of all the various types of animals, and these can be viewed online. |
